π΄ INTERNATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM AT PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY

From March 30 to April 8, 2025, IAGNextGen successfully conducted a training program in partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University. The visit was part of a long-term initiative to integrate advanced international experience into inclusive education practices.
Participants: 24 trainers from the Center of Pedagogical Excellence (CPE) under Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools of Kazakhstan β key drivers of educational and methodological transformation.
π PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
To explore inclusive practices in U.S. educational institutions, establish sustainable approaches to individualized learning, develop emotional intelligence, and create a supportive environment for all types of learners.

- Dr. Marnee Firestone β school psychology, RTI, diagnostics, and interdisciplinary collaboration

- Mr. Dido Balla (Kindness Matters 365) β emotional well-being as the foundation of inclusion

- Potentia Academy β school for students with severe disabilities (autism, ADHD, developmental delays)
- Renaissance Charter School β public school emphasizing inclusion, volunteer involvement, and visual progress tracking
π§ Practical Activities
Participants observed real classes, worked in project teams, modeled adaptive strategies, developed individual educational plans, and practiced pedagogical support tools.
π± OUTCOMES AND INSIGHTS
- Mastered methods for adapting academic content for students with special needs
- Enhanced understanding of the role of school psychologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Highlighted the importance of building a culture of support, acceptance, and emotional well-being in schools
- Participants were inspired to implement inclusive models in Kazakhstan's education system

The program concluded with certificate presentations, a summary session, and discussions on further collaboration with Palm Beach Atlantic University.
